1. Information Collection and Consent

This Privacy Policy outlines how PyWorks (registered with FBR) collects, processes, and protects company, client, and personal information during the course of developing custom ERPs, POS software, database automations, and academic projects.

By engaging with PyWorks, you consent to the storage and operational handling of data required to deliver, secure, and support our custom software and platform services.

2. Client Project Data & Database Privacy

During custom software development, we handle business-critical database schemas, inventory records, purchase history, and employee profiles:

• Strict Confidentality: PyWorks treats all business data provided by clients (such as inventory sync paths, branch logs, and customer ledgers) as strictly confidential. We do not sell, share, or lease this database data to third-party advertising services.
• Operational Separation: All custom client databases (e.g. Danish Brothers ERP, POS storage layers) are isolated in separate hosting buckets or dedicated local server networks. PyWorks developers only access these structures with authorization for technical deployment, troubleshooting, and scheduled script maintenance.

3. Student Project & Inquirer Protection

For student academic projects and general website inquiries:

• Inquiry Confidentiality: Project outlines, personal contacts (WhatsApp/phone numbers), and custom coding requirements submitted via our quote form are kept secure. We do not index student contact lists for promotional marketing.
• Project Isolation: Academic project codebases and ideas are managed discretely to ensure original academic reference value for the student who requested it.

4. Transaction and Payment Information

Payment security is critical to our operation:

• Secure Transactions: All platform payments (e.g. E-Catalog subscription renewals) are handled via PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways, such as PayFast. Offline custom invoicing payments are conducted via standard secure direct bank wire transfer to the PyWorks sole-proprietor business account.

5. Platform Ecosystem Logging

For users of E-Catalog or PyWorks Education, our systems record operational logs (IP logs, account logins, product sync performance metrics) strictly to monitor server uptime, prevent database abuse, and deliver clean, clean interface load-times.

6. Data Rights & Permanent Deletion

Clients and partners hold the right to download their active software configurations, request database migration, or ask for permanent removal of temporary staging server databases. Once staging clearance is authorized, database records are permanently deleted from our staging pools.
